iMasterArabic  A2.2- Levantine & MSA

Description

Speak Levantine Arabic, understand spoken Levantine and written MSA. Reading comprehension in MSA and Levantine Arabic.

In the second part of iMasterArabic Level A2 the main focus is on the Present Tense. You actively practice using FORM I verbs in the Present Tense in different contexts and situations such as: "What does my day look like", "What do I do in my free time", and " Telling what is happening".

​

You also practice describing things and people, expressing feelings and emotions.

​

Note: in order to achieve Level A2, you have to complete all 4 parts of Level 2 (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4) Once you have completed all these sublevels, you will achieve the equivalent of Level A2 of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”, and you can get an Arabic A2 certificate.

Objectives

At the end of this course, you will feel comfortable expressing yourself in the Present Tense and easily switch between the past and the present. You are able to:


1. Fluently and automatically conjugate FORM I verbs in different contexts and topics.


2. Easily make complete sentences in the past and present tense using different verbs, the right prepositions and a rich vocabulary.


3. Describe things and people using adjectives and colours.


4. Describe clothes and accessories.


5. Express state of mind, feelings and emotions in different situations.


6. Communicate what you are doing, what you usually do, and the events of a story.


7. Read and understand simple MSA texts in the Present Tense.


8. Can singalong and understand a song by the famous singer: Fairouz.

Requirements

1. All the prerequisites for Level 1.


2. Be familiar with the "Possessive Form" and the "Demonstratives".


3. Know how to conjugate verbs ‘to have’, ‘to want’, and form I verbs in the Past Tense.


4. The prepositions

You will be able to work with more ease at Level 2 if you can:


5) Express time-related aspects in Arabic, such as: the date, the time, and when something took place.


6) Order in a restaurant in Arabic and ask for the bill.
